{Santa Baby}

Christmas this year was unforgettable indeed. It was the twins first Christmas. It was magical and absolutely perfect.

Christmas eve was crazy for sure, party hopping isn't my favorite thing to do.. especially with two babies. But I'm really glad we put forth the effort this year. We were able to spend quality time with each of our families. (Divorce does not make that easy..) But both families were very understanding in knowing that we had limited time at each gathering and we were able to do everything and visit those we needed to. The babies were spoiled to say the least. They got lots of fun gifts and toys! It was fun to see them smash every stuffed animal and the wrapping paper into their little faces. They loved it.

Christmas morning I woke up first, I was so excited for the babies first Christmas I couldn't stand laying in bed any longer! Both babies slept for what seemed forever. I felt like a kid again.. laying in my bed just waiting for Brent to wake up and say okay lets go see if santa came.. ;)  We enjoyed each and every moment that day. It was a perfect morning to say the least.

I should of just given the babies a box of wrapping paper!
They had a blast with it!

After we ate our traditional christmas crepes we packed up the twins still in their pjs (we were in them all day and it was fabulous). We headed to my parents house for our sibling gift exchange. It was so fun to get
together with my immediete family and this year it has grown by not just two but four people. Both of my sisters got married this year, It was so fun to get together to exchange gifts and drink smoothies and just enjoy eachothers company. My youngest brother Jamison is the sweetest kid I know. He drew my new brother in-law jake's name for christmas. Jamison was so excited for him to open his gift, you could tell the anticipation was killing him.. as jake unwrapped the gift, jamison was hanging right over his shoulder. Jake opened the box and pulled out this paper book.. made out of toilet paper... Jake looked at jamison and said.. coooool.. and Jamison quickly told him it was a journal and that he made it all by himself. The smile on his face just showed how proud he was of it, while the rest of us kind of snickered. But his gift was made with alot of thought and really what more could jake really ask for. ;) Its gifts like this that really actually melt my heart.

please notice... To: Jake From: Jamison, I made this

traditional.. matching pjs! yes. we all just put them on over our outfits.

Merry Christmas!

Having your own kids on Christmas makes it so much fun. Wait till they are older and rip thorugh the paper and are so excited about everything they get. It's awesome.
Hey and I noticed you got a picture of the twins smiling together. Yeah. It's a cute one!
