Then comes the BABY in the BABY CARRIAGE!!

The word is out!!! I'M PREGNANT!! and we couldn't be more excited!! We decided to tell our family for Christmas!! For my family, I made my dad a shirt that said "one good lookin" (on the front) and GRANDPA!! (on the back)! and made Aly a shirt that said AUGUST 2010 (on front) and "I'm going to be a GRANDMA" (on the back!) This will be there first Grandchild so they are really excited, It even brought tears to my dad, which I thought was very sweet or it was just the reality that he is getting old.. haha.. just kidding he is so happy and can't wait to be a GRANDPA!!! Brent took pics with his phone cause we forgot the camera so Ill have him load some pics of there shirts..

For Brent's Family, Its tradition every year to do a Christmas Pinata.. So Figured we would use that. So we made little papers that said things like.. "Brent and Candice are going to be Parents", "Theres a fetus in Candice", "Daddy Brent" etc. Then put binky's and little bottles inside the pinata! So when it got busted open and everyone started grabbing the candy they found the clues! They were all excited as you can tell in the pictures!!

For my Mom's side of the family we just gave a gift to my grandma which was a tile that said "The love of grandparents is so great for grandchildren that there is always room for one more!" She didn't get it right away, I had to make her read it again.. then stood up right in front of her.. Then everyone yelled, Pretty good Christmas gift.

Theres my bump, I'm so glad i don't have to hide it anymore.. I was getting really tired of wearing my white vest everyday.. Baby Bement is due on August 8, 2010! We have been waiting a long time for this and are so excited to become parents, I've been feeling okay, just some nausea.. ALL day and always feeling like I have to eat something so I don't throw up, other then that it hasn't been to bad. BABY BEMENT is ON its WAY!!

Elder Brandon Bement RETURNS home!

Elder Brandon Bement Returned home from serving an LDS mission in Phoenix, AZ, a week before Christmas!! It was so good to see our brother! and Brent couldn't of been more excited!! Good Job Bubs! We are so proud of you! and are glad to have you home!!

..A little Christmas CHEER..

Brent and I went to the Festival of Trees a few weeks ago, Its a tradition that I absolutley adore, Every tree is just mesmerizing and beautiful in its special way. There are so many and not to mention the amazing gingerbread houses, you really have to respect how much time and effort that goes into each gingerbread house and tree. The best part of it is that all profits go straight to primary children's. There was a gingerbread castle that was simply amazing!! it was going for $1200!! which honestly is ridiculous until you hear that they spent 2500 hours building it! We enjoyed walking around and browsing through all the trees and decor, and watching the cute little dancers on the stage, they are just adorable. It makes me miss teaching dance. What a great date night. ps.. sorry, i really took pics of like every tree.. but my computer takes way to long to load..
The 2nd Annual UGLY SWEATER PARTY.. simply rocks.. Thanks to all who came! We had a great time and got some pretty awesome gingerbread houses out of it, even a Eiffel tower and a white house..including a taffy Obama, pretty hilarious until Scott ate him.. We love spending time with our friends and think there is no better way then being dressed up in ridiculous sweaters and lots of spaghetti, burned garlic bread (oops, my fault) and lots and lots of candy! Until next year.. Merry CHRISTMAS!

Give Thanks!

Its been a long time since my last post, We have been so busy! and with Sadie passing, just haven't really been in the mood, But I'm back! This past week was THANKSGIVING!! So here are a few things that Brent and I are thankful for.

* Our families and the support they provide us.
* Eachother, and the fact that we have a happy marriage.
* The gospel and the direction it leads in our lives.
* Our jobs and that we are able to support ourselves.
* The beautiful country we live in and are able to enjoy our freedom.

SADIE... 2005-2009 :(

This is a hard post to write, It seems so unreal but Sadie died very early this morning. She was fine friday and saturday morning she seemed just tired Brent and I both left for work and Brent came home and she had thrown up But we didn't think anything of it cause she has thrown up before and was still acting ok. Later that night we got home from the utah game and she was lying next to her water she had drank the whole thing and had thrown up again. I gave her more water and she drank that and threw that up, I know that dogs can get upset stomachs easily and to just give them a little bit of pepto. I gave her a little and less then 10 minutes later she had thrown that back up. It was about 10PM and I just picked her up and held her for a little and took her to her bed. Brent and I started a movie and then around 3am Sadie had vomited again and this time it looked like blood, Brent googled her symptoms and we decided that we would take her to the vet first thing in the morning.. since it was about 4 in the morning. At about 6 am I woke up to Sadie breathing really heavy then it just stopped. I got out of bed and she was lying down I went to pick her up and she was just lifeless, I frantically yelled for
Brent that we had to GO NOW! He jumped up we called the animal emergency and luckily someone was there and told us to bring her in. It was to late. I held my baby girl the whole time, her body started to stiffen and Brent and I sat and held her for a little longer and said goodbye. The vet diagnosed her with Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis or HGE, which could be caused by several different things, and its hard to diagnose, the best way is if she was pooping blood or throwing it up and once it gets to that point there is no treatment, nothing we could of done. Even if we brought her in when she first vomited the chance for her to live was very little. Because its such an aggressive disease. Brent and I both feel so guilty and are full of would have and should haves and I know we shouldn't, But its hard to lose a pet, especially Sadie. She was the best dog and We MISS her so so much. My dad went and picked Sadie up from the vet to bury her in his backyard. She was a big part of our life and will never be forgotten.

My BiRthDay Man!!

Today is my husbands 24th birthday! I made a list of some things I admire about him. Some things you may not know, But they are all reasons why I love him.

Here are 24 things I love about Brent

1.He loves me even when I'm not having the best day

2.He is honest (sometimes a little to honest).

3.He loves his family and will do anything for them.

4.Brent is very driven and is a very hard worker.

6.He lifts big and is big and makes me feel safe. He could take out any bad guy and monsters out there. Don't mess with him.

11.Brent looks incredibly good looking with a weeks worth of scruff on his face.

12. He has great hair, I want him to grow it out but it drives him crazy..

14. He is sweet with all of our nieces and nephews and my brothers.

15. He is my personal handy man. He can fix anything, have it be just hanging up hooks, to pictures, fixing doors and such.

16. He loves to figure out how things work.

17. He is very protective and is good at making me feel comfortable and happy.

18. He rarely gets sick. I love that he takes care of his body and is healthy which likely will make my life alot easier in the long run.

19. He is a respite provider (Big brother) and will be a darling father one day.

20. He is highly attractive and is very humble when I tell him so.

21. He is somewhat clumsy sometimes just like me and it always end up with me laughing my guts out about it..

22. He has good oral hygiene.. important to the dental assistant.

23. He is a good friend to anyone and everyone.

24. Brent is the best husband I could ask for, he really is a dream come true. Brent makes my life easier, he is the light in our home. He will raise good, strong, happy children when our time comes.

3. Car accidents.. I really think there is nothing worse then the sound of your car smashing into something even if its just a little one.. Like last month... I always have hated car accidents.. hence the reason I refuse to drive if there is snow everywhere.

1. I love clothes, make up, perfume and accessories. I would say that I collect these things but I think every woman does. I pretty much am obsessed with anything that makes you absolutely lovely.
2. A clean kitchen. Really, I'm OCD.. its the last thing I clean at night before we go to bed cause I can't sleep if it isn't spotless. Brent wishes it was our bathroom (my makeup gets everywhere!)
3. I am obsessed with babies and little childern. I want lots of them and I wish I had some running around my house right now. PLEASE BRENT, PLEASE!

1. I think I am one of the funniest people alive, just ask Brent. Ok I'm not really but I do crack myself up from time to time. I do the dumbest things all the time, lets just say I'm probably the clumbiest person alive.. I'm just kind of one big silly joke.
2. I can name the make of any car on the freeway at night just by the shape of there headlights.. Seriously, Im a champ. Test me. I. Dare. You.
3. I love to play. Even if I'm all by myself. . I love to jump on trampolines and pogo sticks, I love to swim , I love to dance and sing, Even get out all my classic board games, chutes and ladders, perfection, and candyland! I pretty much just love to have fun!

Ode to the birthdayers..

Is birthdayers even a word?? eh.. it is now..

On October 14th It was my moms and sisters birthday! Yes, they have the same birthday, It was a sad and happy day, If anyone has lost a parent they can relate how random the pain comes back on certain days or even in certain situations. My mom would of been 49 that day. My sister Jessica and I went and decorated her grave and gave her flowers. Everytime I visit her I just lose it. Its so so hard to repress the emotions standing above her. But I know she is watching over me and those flowers would of made her so happy. Happy Birthday Mom. We love and miss you!

My little sister is 21!! Which makes absolutley no sense.. cause I'm 21..right!? We went to Tepanyaki for dinner with the whole family! Which is always a good show. Heather is so beautiful and she really has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She is always willing to help anyone do anything! We love to shop, laugh, joke , cry, workout, watch movies and just hang out together! She's not just my sister she is my best friend! Happy Birthday Sista!

Also, its Paisley's Birthday today!! She has been such a fun dog since we got her! I love her so much! I love her soft, and beautiful coat, her smile, the way she bites the ball and tucks it under her chin with her arms crossed around the ball so I can't get to it. How happy she makes sadie.. they still play all day. I love the way she gets so excited when I walk in the door from work. She will honestly grab my face and try to lick me to death. She is just plain cute! For her big day we woke up and sang happy birthday to her and gave her a present.. which was pupcorn..and a ball.. She loves balls!! and treats.. We went for a walk, and played fetch, We then went to my brother Jareds football game and then off to visit at my parents house. And now she is just snuggled up right next to me.. Long, fun-filled day! Happy birthday Paisley!!

Viva Las VEGAS!

Since Brent was on fall break we decided to take the long weekend and head to Vegas! We originally planned the trip because I was supposed to run Las Vegas Ragnar, but because of my hip injury I couldn't.. but still had the days off work so Lets GO BOATING at Lake Mead! So Papa Ken came with the boat and Marchelle, Chris and Brodrick met us there! The drive was pretty easy, we left thursday night at about 5 ish and got there at about 2am. I pretty much just passed out and slept the whole way! We stayed at Palace Station, It was ok, kind of older but it had a buffet and thats a requirement.. Anyway.. This is our trip in Reverse.. We went to PHANTOM! It was Brents first Broadway play, I think he liked it.. But I absolutley loved it! It was amazing. The music, actors all did a fabulous job and it truly was an amazing play!

Here is us in the Venetian.. Let me just say.. I really love Italy.. and I wanted to go on that boat in the backround..But not $30 dollar wanted to..so we just took a picture with it..haha..

Here is the ceiling in the Venetian, I know Vegas has alot of bad and ugly things going on but it does have some amazing architecture and interior design. So we really took notice of that on this trip. Some things are very beautiful. I wish I took more pics of ceilings..seriously they were cool..

This is Chelle and I hanging out at the pool at our hotel.. Where I recall it being very relaxing. Lounging, Tanning, Reading our books.. Chelle.. see how much fun were having.. lets do it again.. aw.. i miss it!

Brent and I

Brodrick is one of my very adorable Nephews.. I absolutley love him. I love how he walks all happy.. its like a run and skip baby style.. I miss the way he would ask to hold my hand when walking down the hall.. so he could add a little hop to his style. He just makes my heart melt.

Yes, I have crazy hair maybe I should of broke out in my famous spastic dance...but we just love hanging out in the sun!!

This is us double boarding.. It was so FUN!! we are actually trying to kiss in this picture.. it didn't work out so well.. But both of us were taking turns jumping and passing eachother. It was crazy that we could totally talk normal and hear eachother.

K, so we couldn't kiss so we just held hands.

At the Hoover Dam, This was my first time actually walking around the Dam. It is amazing!! its 660ft thick at the base and almost 800 ft tall! Its crazy to think how much cement it took to build and how they actually built it!

They are building a bridge to go over the dam to prevent terroist attacks and such. Its over 1000 ft tall! They really have security before you cross the bridge, the police check every car, trailer, and boat before allowing you to go across. Lets just say.. it felt like airport security. I made up a funny joke while we were there.. it goes like so.. (cause I know you want to hear it..) so to go on tour of the dam it cost $11... anyway the joke is this.. How much would you pay the dam tour guide to take you on a dam tour? 11 dam dollars.. yep, so sometimes I think I'm the funniest person alive.. at least Brent laughed.

Last Boating trip of the Summer.. It was a great way to wrap up our summer vacations for the year. Back home to work, study, homework, more work being a wife and mother to the dogs..
I hate to admit it..but I really did miss my dogs. So I'm happy to be home and snuggle them! Thanks to Bridget and Charla for taking such good care of them!
