Viva Las VEGAS!

Since Brent was on fall break we decided to take the long weekend and head to Vegas! We originally planned the trip because I was supposed to run Las Vegas Ragnar, but because of my hip injury I couldn't.. but still had the days off work so Lets GO BOATING at Lake Mead! So Papa Ken came with the boat and Marchelle, Chris and Brodrick met us there! The drive was pretty easy, we left thursday night at about 5 ish and got there at about 2am. I pretty much just passed out and slept the whole way! We stayed at Palace Station, It was ok, kind of older but it had a buffet and thats a requirement.. Anyway.. This is our trip in Reverse.. We went to PHANTOM! It was Brents first Broadway play, I think he liked it.. But I absolutley loved it! It was amazing. The music, actors all did a fabulous job and it truly was an amazing play!

Here is us in the Venetian.. Let me just say.. I really love Italy.. and I wanted to go on that boat in the backround..But not $30 dollar wanted to..so we just took a picture with it..haha..

Here is the ceiling in the Venetian, I know Vegas has alot of bad and ugly things going on but it does have some amazing architecture and interior design. So we really took notice of that on this trip. Some things are very beautiful. I wish I took more pics of ceilings..seriously they were cool..

This is Chelle and I hanging out at the pool at our hotel.. Where I recall it being very relaxing. Lounging, Tanning, Reading our books.. Chelle.. see how much fun were having.. lets do it again.. aw.. i miss it!

Brent and I

Brodrick is one of my very adorable Nephews.. I absolutley love him. I love how he walks all happy.. its like a run and skip baby style.. I miss the way he would ask to hold my hand when walking down the hall.. so he could add a little hop to his style. He just makes my heart melt.

Yes, I have crazy hair maybe I should of broke out in my famous spastic dance...but we just love hanging out in the sun!!

Brent is going to be such a good dad, Brodrick was enthralled with the bubbles so he didn't look at the camera..

This is us double boarding.. It was so FUN!! we are actually trying to kiss in this picture.. it didn't work out so well.. But both of us were taking turns jumping and passing eachother. It was crazy that we could totally talk normal and hear eachother.

K, so we couldn't kiss so we just held hands.

At the Hoover Dam, This was my first time actually walking around the Dam. It is amazing!! its 660ft thick at the base and almost 800 ft tall! Its crazy to think how much cement it took to build and how they actually built it!

They are building a bridge to go over the dam to prevent terroist attacks and such. Its over 1000 ft tall! They really have security before you cross the bridge, the police check every car, trailer, and boat before allowing you to go across. Lets just say.. it felt like airport security. I made up a funny joke while we were there.. it goes like so.. (cause I know you want to hear it..) so to go on tour of the dam it cost $11... anyway the joke is this.. How much would you pay the dam tour guide to take you on a dam tour? 11 dam dollars.. yep, so sometimes I think I'm the funniest person alive.. at least Brent laughed.

Last Boating trip of the Summer.. It was a great way to wrap up our summer vacations for the year. Back home to work, study, homework, more work being a wife and mother to the dogs..
I hate to admit it..but I really did miss my dogs. So I'm happy to be home and snuggle them! Thanks to Bridget and Charla for taking such good care of them!
