July has been a very eventful month! Brent and I both love Fireworks!! and well, Sadie sure doesnt.. but we took her up to eaglewood anyway..
This month it has been difficult to see the passing of my great grandma. She will be missed. I loved her so much! She was a great example to me growing up. She taught me alot about being a wife and one day a mother. She taught me how to knit and it was one of the many hobbies I start.. but never really finish. Anyway, she taught me the basics of it and i would make like just a very long string.. but i was proud about how long it got and kept getting.. she would laugh and say something along the line of "why don't you try to go back the other way."? then I decided to make a scarf.. she showed me how to do it.. and i started but soon after i gave up.. and gave it back to her and asked her to finish it.. cause i wasn't making it look very good..she took it from me and shortly, after she was put in the rest home I went to visit her and she pulled the half made scarf from her drawer and said.." Candice, here is your scarf your going to have to finish it my arthritis is to bad and I have forgotten how to do it." Great.. I said to myself.. like I remember.. I let her keep it just incase she was bored and the rest home and decided to finish it for me.. but come to think of it.. I have no idea where that scarf is.. But maybe ill pick back up the yarn and try.. anyway, Grandma Ingrid was a quick witted women with a strong foundation on life and she will be missed. Most importantly the knowledge and love she showed to her family in her life was something anyone could look up to! Loves yous grams!
