MOVED IN!!

Brent and I finally moved into our new home!! It took a lot of hard work, patience, strength, and love and moving isn't quite my cup of tea...But we got through it!
Brent's mom, JoAnne painted pretty much our entire condo! We couldn't of done it without her! I'd say she is quite the professional painter!
Before we painted the paint in the master bedroom was baby blue! And the 2nd bedroom was key lime green! Yes, very bright and very ugly. The first thing Brent and I did when we closed on the house was a trip to home depo to select new paint colors!
We started the move on July 3, 2008 packin and shippin the small things and continued through July 5, 2008 when we moved the couch and our bed in, WE were HOME!

As a present to ourselves we decided to purchase a NEW TV!! This probably caused the most frustration in our lives!! But by the end the only thing we could do was laugh. So we started at Costco thinking the prices would be the best. We didn't really like any of them and decided to head across the street to Best Buy. We found the TV we wanted in our price range and size. The Best Buy employee "Ernie" loaded us up with the TV, wall mount and cable. We loaded the TV in the back of the truck and drove home. Brent began by putting together the wall mount which was in a million pieces and took awhile cause the screws were to short and we had to remove washers and tweak it so it would fit our TV. We had to take a trip to home depot to get a stud finder to hang our TV. When we got home we found out the stud finder needed batteries so we left again and got batteries. By now, we were just frustrated with the mount! Until we pulled out the TV and Brent placed the back of the wall mount to it. Turned it around and GUESS WHAT.. it was the wrong TV! It was a more expensive one.. that we did pay for.. but was a different style then we wanted, so back to Best Buy we go.. switched it.. and the cable, (cause it wasn't long enough). We went back home and as we pulled up to our house Brent realized that he didn't unscrew the wall mount off the other TV! So it the TV was returned with a wall mount stuck on the back of it. Here we go again.. back to Best Buy. When Brent returned we then realized that we had the owners manual and remote for the TV we just returned in the condo.. ya.. we kept it! There was no way we were going back! Today tested our patience but we got through it. The TV sure does look good and works great!.. so far..Lesson of the story, next time you buy a TV don't talk to the guy named Ernie!..
I'm so thankful for my husband and the hard work and love he put into moving us into our new home, not to mention his patience and understanding during this time. There were a few moments when things just weren't working the way we needed and he handled each problem very well, alot better then I ever could. He is just amazing!
