MOM, I miss you..

"That Wonderful Mother Of Mine"
The moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
The birds never sing but a message they bring
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
Just to bring back the time, that was so sweet to me,
Just to bring back the days, when I sat on her knee.
I pray every night to our Father above,
For that wonderful mother of mine.
I ask Him to keep her as long as He can
That -- wonderful mother of mine.
There are treasures on earth, that made life seem worthwhile,
But there's none can compare to my mother's smile.
You'll hold a spot down deep in my heart,
Till the stars no longer shine.
Your soul shall live on forever,
On through the fields of time.
For there'll never be another to me,
Like that wonderful Mother of mine. - Author Unknown
I have to say, that losing a parent is one of the hardest things. I don't think you ever completely heal, you just come to the fact that their gone. When my mom passed away, I've never felt so lost before. Even with all the support I had from my family, the pain was still there.
I lived with my mom before she died and one thing I learned from her was to always have faith and you'll have the strength to get through anything. I felt the most comfort when I was down on my knees. I remember, the night before she passed away I was sitting in the hospital and I kneeled to pray and was overcome with an answer to my prayer that I wasn't prepared to get. I kept praying and it was just time for her to go. The next day as my sisters and I sat next to her as she struggled, I knew she would be ok, she would be made perfect. She had the most strength of anyone I know. Her Testimony was strong and she loved the gospel. She may have not been the best speller, athletic, or chef but she understood the gospel. Her scriptures were the most read and most marked I have ever seen. And I think most importantly she loved us. She loved her daughters more then anything. I strive to be like her. As I am sure everyone does of their mother. She was definantley special person in my life. Faith is the power for strength to overcome any trial.
I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
