NeW YoRk!

Brent and I went with Ken to visit Kenny, Lori, Brinley, and Brooklyn in Danbury, Connecticut. We had so much fun and we did so much! We flew there Thursday night into JFK we got there about 1 am! We were so tired and everyone was asleep already so we just went to bed. On Friday which was halloween was Brinley's Birthday. She went to school and Brent and I headed to New York for the day with the help of my brother in-law kenny we safely got on the train and headed into Central Station. The ride was about an hour and a half. Once we got to Times Square we wanted to go to a broadway show so we attempted to get matinee tickets but had no such luck since fridays they don't have matinees! I was a little bummed cause thats something I really wanted to do.. maybe next time! But I guess that means more shopping!! Brent was excited for that.. but tolerated! We found my favorite store H&M.. if you haven't ever been there.. JUST go! We went to the Rockefeller Center and they were opening up the ice rink. We did alot of touristy stuff and street shopping.. and lets just say Im definatley not a barginer! I'd rather just pay the people what they ask.. but I did get the guts to try and just walk away from these cute purses and the guy asked me how much I'd pay.. so I got 3 purses for $60 not a bad deal.. We headed to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch! it was so so good!!
Saturday, Brent woke up early and played football with his brother and his ward. They had a good time. Kenny got us tickets to the Army vs. Airforce game.. and Kenny, ken and Brent and I headed to West Point Football field and Lori stayed home and had a Birthday Party for Brinley. The game was just amazing!! It was a fun game! When they sing the National Anthem at the game it was amazing to me how quiet everyone got and nobody moved!! Everyone stops and crosses there hand over there heart untill the song ends. Not like at the Utah games when everyones screaming and moving around.. wait.. do they even sing the national anthem before? anyway then of course we went home and watched MORE FOOTBALL!! BYU then UTAH then TCU were pretty much had 17 hrs straight of football but I guess brent did follow me around New York while I shopped..
Sunday we went to church with the bement fam. The closest chapel is 20 minutes away! I never realize how lucky we are here to have it around the corner from our house. At nine am we are honestly lucky to make it on time already let alone still have to drive 20 minutes. We then just packed up and headed back to JFK! Saying goodbye was so hard! I Love my cute little nieces! The little stinkers just melt my heart! We were about to leave and Brinley yelled and said don't leave yet I have to draw you a picture! she ran off and came back two minutes later with this quick sketch and said "there is you and there is me, now we wil be together" so cute!!
I really admire Lori, she is such an amazing mom! She has so much fun with her girls and took good care of us while we were there!! Love you Lori and Kenny thanks for an awesome trip!
